We use the services provided by 1account to certify that all people shopping with VIP Vapers are age verified at the point of sale. When placing an order online for postage, click and collect or our local delivery service, 1account will confirm your age digitally, this way, we can be certain that we are complying with the law.
Our digital age verification checks will be carried out once your order is completed.
After you have placed an order, you will reach an order confirmation page. If you have not previously been verified by 1account, you can expect to see a pop up window, this will ask you to input some details about yourself and may ask for you for your date of birth, phone number and e-mail address.
The 1account system will then confirm your identify by comparing it to records held on the electoral register, API, and KYC (know your customer).
If the 1account system cannot verify you, it will ask you to provide more information and this may include your billing address, driving license number and debit card number.
